But if I asked the dev to keep the d/l link/name static and he agrees, could you do it? It's a long shot but he might. Trouble is as you said the version number for the beta changes, so it's useless. I didn't expect it to be possible, it was just a suggestion that if it were possible could you do it. If you want to stay at the cutting edge you'll have to upgrade manually I'm afraid.
I'm just going to do it as an "x.x.x" version as the download filename stays the same with updates so it'll always pick up the latest one. How does that work? Or do you mean that's what you'd like to happen?

As we are in the Beta Testing forum, I suggest we just give it a try & test it. Nothing changes in the App\MuLab folder between runs so swapping those files according to OS version would seem to be the easiest way to do it.
